Two weeks ago I went to the Vilsalpsee with my family. You can see the lake above. Well, actually you can`t. It`s under the snow.
We didn`t spend much time together. The others were walking ahead and I stayed behind to take photos. Then I walked rather quickly to catch up with the others and I contuinued in this speed, left them behind until I stopped for another photo. If you take a lot of photos yourself, you probably know this process. And how annoyed the others can get after a while.
Be that as it may, here are some of the pictures:
To be able to take these pictures, I had to jump from one stone/ patch of grass to the next to reach this spot in the middle of the stream. When I was done, I had problems finding my way back and almost fell into the water. I had been so focussed on getting there, that I didn`t think about my way back. But, what wouldn`t one do for art ... ;-)
Just a little tip: Even if it leads to more stress, don`t take hasty photos while walking. Almost all of them won`t look good. Try to ignore that the others are waiting or return alone on another day if you don`t want to make them wait.
The results when drawing from a living model or taking photos improve a lot if you just take your time.
